Resources Coordinator(Part Time)

POSITION PURPOSE:

Acquires & coordinates in-kind donations for the organization related to ministry of youth, family & adult programs of City on a Hill. This includes the communication, ordering, tracking and inventorying of the donated items. Works with staff to assess needs, coordinate logistics and provide a wide range of donated resources to ministry. Coordinates, plans and supervises for on-site volunteers on Health Outreach days and during the week, as scheduled.

SPECIALIZED KNOW-HOW AND REQUIREMENTS:

-Has worked as a part of a “team” and has a background in dealing with a wide variety of people of different age groups and cultures in a professional, Christ-like manner.
-Demonstrated ability to form mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships
-Excellent people skills, and the ability to solve practical problems.
-Proficient with navigating the Internet and utilizing Microsoft Office programs including: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
-Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
-Ability to perform responsibilities in a self-directed environment.
-Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
-Ability to work the 2nd Saturday of each month.
-Must be able to work in a fast-changing environment and be flexible (some weekend scheduling required).
-Skills in explaining and applying policies and procedures.
-Evidence of spiritual maturity, including integrity, humility, and self-discipline.

MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

-Must be able to drive to work-related business outside of the City on a Hill.
-Stands, walks and reaches above the shoulder, as well as bends, twists, throughout shift. 
-Must be able to lift, push, and carry various items up to 20 lbs.
-Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
