Family Mission Trips

Our Family Missions trips are a great opportunity for the whole family (children 1st through 5th grade) to serve, learn and grow together. After seeing the transformation in the lives of their older children who had participated in our Short-Term Missions Trips, parents asked how their whole family could serve. Additionally, youth desired to share their experience at City on a Hill with their church.

Recent studies have shown that one of the key elements to helping children and youth retain their faith throughout young adulthood is seeing their parents actively serve. Our Family Missions Trips will not only provide families with numerous opportunities to serve together, but will also deliver hands-on teaching on servanthood, evangelism, compassion and racial reconciliation.

The Family Missions Trips are designed specifically for families with young children who are unable to participate in the Short-Term Missions Trip. We recommend that families with children older than 6th grade participate in the Short-Term Missions Trip.

Trips are Wednesday night through Sunday afternoon.  All participants will be provided with meals, housing at City on a Hill, teaching, ministry experience and any supplies needed.
